Shoe Buying Tips

  • Go to a reputable shoe store with a knowledgeable staff.
  • Take your old shoes with you. They tell an experienced sales agent how you wear your shoes.
  • Take socks that you will wear with the shoes.
  • Shop in the afternoon; late in the day your feet are swollen, this gives you a more reliable fit.
  • Shoes should be 1/2 inch longer than your longest toe.,
  • The shoe should bend or break in the same place that your foot does.
  • The ball of your foot should not feel too loose or tight in the shoe.
  • The heel counter should fit snugly around your heel.
